The Last Member Standing contest has ended!

Congratulations to Azack and Moondog, the Last Members Standing!

Members, as in two! Unfortunately, we cannot crown a single winner, as Week 7 was the one that finally did in both Azack and Moondog. These two players battled it out alone for three weeks, picking winners along the way. But in the end, the Buccaneers outrageous loss to the Carolina Panthers took out Moondog and the Patriots unreal loss to the Bears crushed Azack’s chances of taking the sole title of Last Member Standing.

Ultimately, this was one of the best possible outcomes for players as the prize pool had continued to grow unabated for three weeks. With both players ending up in a ‘tie’ as the Last Member Standing, they split the prize pool that would have gone to the first two places. So with the grand prize for the Last Member Standing at $275, plus the guaranteed runner-up money of $200, the two final players will split $475, each player getting $237.50.

Places one through four get paid in the OSGA Last Member Standing Contest and the same scenario came into play for their prizes. In Week 3, two players also went out, whittling the field to the final two winners. Congratulations also go out to Staffordorbust and Tee for at least getting through the first two weeks! These two players went out in Week 3 and will split the 3rd and fourth place guaranteed prizes totaling $150, with each of them getting $75.

To say this was a tough season for 2022 OSGA Last Member Standing Survivor Contest is an understatement. The Titans loss to the Giants by one point in Week 1 took out more than half of the field. Early season losses by the Colts, 49ers and Chiefs also took out several players. We added the progressive element to the prize pool several years ago and it has been a fun way for players to root for other players and for the prize pool to get gigantic. Last year we put in the element of a guaranteed prize pool and that guarantee paid off for players in 2022. Had the pool not been guaranteed, the 3rd and fourth place winners would have each gotten less than $50.
