We get contacted all the time about online sportsbooks that we have never heard of. New places pop up like weeds every year and for the most part, they are not worthy of anyone’s bets.

We received a complaint this week on a place called JetWin. The player stated that he was looking for a new Bitcoin sportsbook and found JetWin on the ‘net. He played with them for a while and got his account up to 5K after a few smaller payouts. Then abruptly, after his limits were lowered to just $50 bets, the account was locked. And with it, the players 5K. After repeated attempts to contact JetWin with no response and no funds, the player turned to us here at OSGA.

Prior to this complaint we had nothing on JetWin in our database, so we had to start digging.

Red Flag #1. To our surprise the place has an Arizona phone number and address listed! Woah! Obviously they are not operating in the States so we continued to dig. They are affiliated with GetWin, which is an Asian facing casino site. That site is locate in Costa Rica and an IP check showed that JetWin is too.

Red Flag #2. The website is mostly done in Euros, despite that fact that this is obviously a U.S facing sportsbook.

Red Flag #3. They have sketchy bonus rules and promotions with a 300% bonus and up to 10% net losses back each day, both of which would be unsustainable in the long run.

Big Red Flag

We reached out to JetWin earlier this week with an inquiry on behalf of the player who is being stiffed out of $5000. So far we have heard nothing back. After doing additional research, there is a 120-plus page thread out there littered with similar account problems from other players. In addition, there are numerous reports of GetWin scamming players in the early 2010s.

Hopefully we hear back from JetWin and iron out the confiscation of $5000 for the player who contacted us. For our Members this is a warning to stay away and to keep your eye out for a Bad Bet alert should JetWin continue to stonewall inquiries from the player and OSGA.
