Where Members Get More!OSGA AdminKeymasterWe are happy to announce that longtime OSGA Member ‘Snurker’ came in 7th overall in the 2018 OSGA College Bowl Bonanza and his 20 wins were the highest total by any OSGA Member. Thus, ‘Snurker’ cashes for the $100 member prize!
In all, seven players actually ended up tied with 20 wins, but ‘Snurker’ was the only one that is a current OSGA Member in good standing.
We are happy to send ‘Snurker’ a money order for $100 to the address he has on file in his profile.

OSGA AdminKeymasterThanksgiving Members Contest WINNERS!
Tough day for OSGA members and public betting as the Saints game goes Under, the ‘Boys cover by a half-point and Da Bears win by a TD. Overall 72% of members took the Lions, 66% took the Redskins and only 12% took under in the night cap. Finally, all but handful of members took over on the Ole Miss/Mississippi State game that, at 35-3, went miles under the contest total of 59.
With just 7 games to pick from, we expected to see a tie on the leaderboard and we had two players that manged to get four games picked correctly. ‘moneymaker290’ and ‘dracula12’ both got four picks correct, including both the side and Total in the Redskins/Cowboys matchup.
Since no one even came close to picking all 7 games correct, the $500 grand prize reverts to $200. So, ‘moneymaker290’ and ‘dracula12’ will split the $200 prize. Congrats to these two players and thanks to everyone who entered.

We get dozens of complaints that we get involved with every month. I check though them each assuming at the outset that the player has a valid problem. I checked your screenshots and verified the bets were indeed winners. I do not check any screenshots for the purpose of validity at the outset of working on a complaint.
What we did do was contact the head of Customer Service at Bovada. He checked the system, could find no record of these wagers. He checked your account and found that the wagers were never removed from your balance. He checked the logs of other bets placed in the same time frame and could not find your bets, not could he find that any other bets in their system were not graded or graded incorrectly. He tried to re-create your problem and could not. We also scoured the Internet looking for any other complaints about missing bets at Bovada and could find none. In addition, in our complaint database, we have never seen this problem at Bovada.
As you are obviously unsatisfied with the work that we have done, I will again urge you to contact the Kahnawake Gaming Commission outside of Montreal Canada. They license Bovada and can certainly request the betting logs and possibly even do an audit of Bovada for you. Their complaint form is located at https://www.gamingcommission.ca/feedback.asp.

Bovada takes tens of thousands of bets a day, yet for some reason your bets were not accepted. No one else has complained of missing bets that day or any other, ever, at Bovada. Again, there is no record of these bets anywhere except for your screenshots, which for some reason you took. Do you take screenshots of all of your bets??
Feel free to post your evidence in here.
I also urge you to contact the Kahnawake Gaming Commission.

Bovada is Elite Rated because they have well over 50K customers and they have operated for nearly 20 years servicing those customers. In all fairness, they did have some issues when the US went after their processing company, but that was more than 5 years ago and Bovada came through it OK.
In addition, for the amount of customers that they have, we get VERY few complaint on them. In 2018 we have 2 complaints on them. Both from you.
Your bet tickets had no transaction numbers on them and there was no money deducted from your account for the bets. They tried to recreate the problem and could not. We have never heard of a problem like this at Bovada either, in the nearly 20 years they have been operating.
Bovada is licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission outside of Montreal Canada. As we could not assist you, maybe they will find out something different. Their complaint form is located at https://www.gamingcommission.ca/feedback.asp.

We are sorry to see what is happening at Bovada, but they generally do a good job. You also filled out The Members complaint form which gives you priority in seeking resolution. We will contact Bovada, reply to you when we get in contact with them and also post in here as to how your case is going for other members to see.

OSGA AdminKeymasterWhat a great Super Bowl!!
Four players had 5 of the six prop bets picked correctly, as every one went over with the offensive explosion in Super Bowl LII. So we had to go to the tie-breaker and with a final total of 74 points it really came down to which player posted the highest total.
H8H8rs had a total of 63 posted despite picking the Patriots to win. So, he is the Winner of the OSGA Super Totals Super Bowl 52 Contest! Ironically, just one player, Dean, picked the Eagles to win.
Congratulations to all who played. Hopefully everyone cashed some tickets on the Big Game!
A $100 VISA Gift Card will be sent out to H8H8rs this week.

OSGA AdminKeymasterWe heard back from TopBet that they are now getting funds out to players. We received confirmation from several of the players who had filed complaints that they have, in fact, received payments!
We expect to hear that TopBet is all caught up with payments in the next few weeks.
We will keep players update and continue to stay on top of this situation.
